The work of preparing Via Ferrata Loen for the season-opening is in full swing, and on 1 May the climbing route can open as planned.
Via Ferrata Loen is a spectacular climbing path that is secured with wire all the way, and takes you to the top of Mt. Hoven at 1011 masl. You climb with a magnificent view of the fjord, Lodalen, Oldedalen, the majestic Mt. Skåla, and the mountains towards Jostedalsbreen Glacier. At 750 meters above the fjord, you will cross Europe's longest via the ferrata bridge, and at the top, you will meet Loen Skylift, which will take you back to the fjord level. The Zipline is not ready for the season as there is still too much snow around the facility.
