Loen Shuttle, will bring visitors to Kjenndalstova and Oppheim three times a day. So, whether you want to go hiking to Rakssetra, jump into the ice-cold glacier water, take famous Loen Skylift or enjoy your local deer burger at the end of Lake Lovatnet - the Shuttle will take you there.
The work of preparing Via Ferrata Loen for the season-opening is in full swing, and on 1 May the climbing route can open as planned.
The Skylift team and Garaventa have worked day and night to finish the maintenance, and we can open ahead of schedule.
Loen Skylift will be closed due to maintenance from 19 to 28 April 2022. This is the standard procedure for a certain period of time after a cable change. Loen Skylift replaced one of the cables in May last year.
“Norway's longest sled/toboggan run" is a prepared road down from Loen Skylift to Oppheim. Ride with fantastic fjord views for a full 7 kilometers, spread over about 700 meters. The trip down elicits broad smiles among both young and old.
