1,000 flights from Mt. Hoven - in just five months!

On Sunday 23rd of October, Truls Holmen had his 1,000th flight with a speed glider from Mt. Hoven in Loen.

1,000 flights are in itself impressive. What makes it even more spectacular is that the flights from Hoven are made over five months, from the end of May to the end of October. This is an average of 200 flights per month.

Truls Holmen is an experienced aerialist from Hokksund, but lives in Krogstadelva near Drammen.

His daily record in Loen is 31 flights in one day, and 140 flights in a week. Holmen accomplished that in September.
