Saturday 1 July marks the season opening for the Loen Shuttle - the easiest way to get around Loen and Lodalen Valley.
Loen Shuttle is an initiative from the local community to reduce the environmental footprint in the valley and simplify logistics. The bus will have seven daily departures; four through Lodalen to Kjenndalstova and three to Oppheim. The season is 1 July - 13 August.
Whether you want to go to Rakssetra mountain farm, experience Lake Lovatnet or swim at Breng, this summer you can leave the car and hop on the Loen Shuttle. With a flexible day ticket, you can travel as much as you want.
The activity company Loen Active AS is responsible for the operation. The idea itself is a result of work in the project "Destination Development Loen and Lodalen", where Hotel Alexandra, Stryn municipality, and several tourism companies have been involved in the development of the area in recent years.
The goal is less traffic, a reduced environmental footprint, and a safer road.
