Experience Loen from a kayak on the Nordfjord. Loen Active offer guided tours in double kayaks almost all year round. The trip can also be combined with a hike. Base camp is the Alexandra Marina, close to Hotel Alexandra and Loen Skylift.
Tour 1: Discover paddling
A short tour on the Nordfjord, perfect for beginners. Time spent: 2 hours (10AM-12AM). Level: Easy. Minimum age: 8 years.

Tour 2: The Fjord Tour
Experience Loen and the inner Nordfjord from the fjord angle. We stop along the way and tell about the history and nature of this area below the great Jostedalsbreen Glacier. Time: 3 hours (1-4 PM). Level: Medium. Minimum age: 10 years.
Price: NOK 1060 per person.
Kayak for rent (without guide)
Those who can present a valid licence can rent equipment. You must have a personal certificate for either NPF (WetCard 16 hours), EPP2 or BCU 2STAR.
Twin kayak: 1 hour: NOK 520 | 3 hours: NOK 940 | Full day: NOK 1700.
Single kayak: 1 hour: NOK 400 | 3 hours: NOK 620 | Full day: NOK 1200.
Included: Kayak, paddle, paddle jacket, life jacket, gloves and paddle shoes, and eventually wetsuit or dry suit.
Practical information
All tours include guide, kayak, paddle, paddle jacket, vest, gloves and paddle shoes. Wetsuit or dry suit can be included. There is usually a follow-on boat on the guided tours.
